West
Midlands Branch Programme 2012-2013
The main function of the West Midlands Branch is to organise a
programme of events at a local level on subjects relevant to its
branch members.
Most meetings start at 17:30 with some light refreshments,
followed by a presentation that normally starts at 18:15. There is
time for questions at the end, and we normally finish by about
20:00. Thanks to sponsorship from local employers, there is
generally no charge for these evening meetings.
We normally arrange at least one conference each year, and also
a social event in the summer. Full details of each meeting are sent
to branch members about two to three weeks before. Guests are
always welcome - they will find a membership stand at the event
where committee members will be happy to provide information on how
to join.

Cadbury Site Visit

CIWEM West Midlands Branch would like to invite you to attend a
site visit to Cadbury in Birmingham. Now owned by Mondelēz
International, Cadbury is the second largest global confectionery
company.
The afternoon will start with a presentation from Karl Bowen
& Nila Naik (Sustainability Managers) on company history and
the Mondelēz International sustainability agenda. The afternoon
will conclude with a plant tour.

Collaborative Working in the Water Industry

West, within Severn Trent Water) along with colleagues will be
presenting a talk on Collaborative Working in the Water
Industry.
The presentation will explore how the AMP5 framework is working
and what the benefits of collaboration and co-location are.
