Application Deadlines
These are the forthcoming dates for the Professional Board
Meetings at which applications are considered for
CIWEM membership:
28th
March 2012 (cut-off date to receive applications: 28th
February 2012)
23rd May 2012 (cut-off date to
receive applications: 23rd April 2012)
19th July 2012 (cut-off date to
receive applications: 19th June 2012)
27th September 2012 (cut-off
date to receive applications: 24th August 2012)
28th November 2012 (cut-off date
to receive applications: 26th October 2012)
Please do not email
applications as only hard copies with original signatures will be
accepted.
**Please ensure that you enclose all items on the
checklist for submission detailed on the application form, as
missing items can lead to delays.
You will be notified by email which meeting your application is
going to. You will also be notified in writing what the
result of each meeting is within 4 weeks of the meeting
date.
On the 17th April
2012 we will be organising our second bulk day of
Professional Review Interviews in
London. If you have been invited to by the
Professional Boards to submit Step 2 of the application process
(Career and Project Reports), if we receive them by the
29th February
2012 we will try to arrange your interview on the
17th April in London.
Mandatory Competences
Please note - The CIWEM Competences have been carefully mapped
against the requirements of the Engineering Council, Science
Council and Society for the Environment. If you are applying
for external registration with any of these bodies we strongly
recommend that you familiarise yourself with their requirements by
visiting the following websites:
N.B. We are now unable to accept any
applications sent in that contain the 10 Mandatory Competences.
