Associate - ACIWEM

To apply for Associate membership of CIWEM you need to have a relevant qualification acceptable to the Professional Boards and experience to demonstrate achievement of the CIWEM Mandatory Competences for Associate.

Successful applicants will be entitled to use the post-nominal designation ACIWEM.

Appropriately qualified applicants can additionally apply for registration with the Engineering Council.

You can complete the Mandatory Competence Attainment Report in our online web app, this allows you to create a log-in and come back to the report when convenient.

Submitting an application

A hard copy of your complete application is required and this must contain original sponsors' signatures. We will not begin processing applications until receipt of the hard copy.

A soft copy of your Mandatory Competence Attainment form and Career Overview Report should also be submitted in the original format. Ideally these documents would be electronically signed but if this is not possible unsigned versions are acceptable, provided they match the original signed copy. Please note it is not necessary to send in soft copies of any other parts of your applicationapplications@ciwem.org.
